Horizen is developing an exclusive eco-resort on eight acres of pristine land along the Northern coast of the Dominican Republic. With 550 feet of beach frontage on the Atlantic Ocean, the development is located in the town of Cabarete, the kite-surfing capital of the world.

The development will include a 70-room boutique hotel, 168 luxurious, loft-style condominiums, a state-of-the-art spa, a fitness center, an upscale retail galleria, and a beach club/lounge. This resort will embrace the principles of sustainable design, including the use of recycled materials, alternative energy and respect for local traditions and building techniques. The elaborate landscaping will include countless water features, an outdoor amphitheatre-style club and multiple restaurants.

This project will be designed by the internationally acclaimed European designer, Stephane Dupoux, creator of the Nikki Beach concept, Cielo, Touch and Cocoon restaurants in addition to many other projects around the world. Dupoux is working in collaboration with Sarah Garcia, the Dominican Republic’s most accomplished architect.
